Orlando attractions shore up housing market

Orlando is certainly living up to its reputation of being the world’s biggest playground.

Home to some of the world’s biggest and most popular theme parks, Orlando will soon be hosting other major attractions. And it doesn’t end there: the Orlando business scene is abuzz with rumors of another massive construction in the offing.

For the young and young at heart

Orlando’s tourism industry gets major perks from world-famous attractions like Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld Orlando. Each year, these giant entertainment resorts entice new and returning visitors with additional rides, theme park expansions, hotels and other innovative offerings.

And when it comes to expanding its offerings, Universal Orlando is leading the pack. It is set to introduce the 1,000-room Sapphire Fall Resort in July 2016, and its first on-property water park, intriguingly called Volcano Bay, in 2017.

New theme park?

Now there’s news that Universal Orlando is eyeing the 450-acre Universal Boulevard land currently owned by California-based Colony Capital LLC.

If the company succeeds in the purchase, people can expect a new string of hotels, retail, and dining establishments and, yes, a new theme park.

Economic boost

All these mean more job and business opportunities for Orlando residents. Orlando’s employment growth rate currently stands better than Florida’s and the US’ and with the expected boosts in the near future, may even see further improvement.

And more employment means more people making Orlando their home.

Homes For Sale in Orlando

What better time to invest in a new home in Orlando than now? Home affordability in the city remains high despite rising home prices. New home construction is going on everywhere, giving buyers plenty of options on location, size, price, features and others.

The climate is certainly good for home buying. Call a trusted Orlando real estate professional now and learn about your prospects.
